Three Corners, Vero Beach, FL

The City of Vero Beach, Florida owns a 33 acre site along the Intercostal Waterway that is bisected by the 17th Street Bridge. Located on the north side of the site is a recently decommissioned power plant, built in the 1060s with a awe-inspiring turbine hall. Located on the south of the bridge are two structurally impressive concrete fresh water tanks that service a wastewater treatment plant that is scheduled to be relocated. These images represent inspiration ideas to advocate for saving the power plant and water tanks, and to develop the site for recreational, cultural and community activities.
